September 2011: Gilbert Evans has handled the sale of Ullesthorpe Garden Centre in Ullesthorpe, South Leicestershire to Palmers Garden Centre, Leicester. Gilbert Evans represented the vendor and the transaction marks the first acquisition undertaken by Palmers Garden Centre.
“This is a great opportunity for Palmers to establish a large destination garden centre as Ullesthorpe Garden Centre has planning consent to expand up to 36,000 sq ft on a 15-acre site.” commented Mike Gilbert of Gilbert Evans.
Ullesthorpe Garden Centre was established 15 years ago by Ian Tallis and has a turnover of under £2m.
